> Solis Viscount
Family
● Solis von Darren, Viscount (40)
Takuhir's father and
the head of the Viscount family, with two sons and one daughter. He was an
excellent commander known for his bravery, but his paternal authority has waned
due to his second son's schemes (which he gets caught up in). He enjoys
frequenting brothels, indulging in his "noble pursuits" behind his
wife's back, but everything is known to her, and he consistently receives harsh
punishments from her. He distinguished himself in the Southern Gate Bloodby
Battle, earning a promotion from Baron to Viscount.
● Solis von Chris, Viscountess (33)
Takuhir's mother, who
effectively holds the reins of the Solis Viscount family. She is the only
family member privy to Takuhir's secret, having learned it through his
confession. As a mother, she mediates by connecting him with women (comrades)
he can fully confide in, all to protect him. Her initiative is exceptional. She
occasionally transforms into a Hannya to reprimand her husband and eldest son
for their misbehavior.
● Solis von Darek (17)
Possesses transcendent
swordsmanship, holding the title of Sword Saint. He is also gifted in military
strategy and tactics, showing glimpses of a commander's potential. A Light
Mage, he has distinguished himself repeatedly on the battlefield as "The
Young Valor of the Solis Viscount Family," rising from Baronet to Baron.
He has caught the attention of Count Gouras, Commander of the Royal Capital
Knights, and, after graduating from the academy, is expected to lead the Sixth
Unit as one of the Frontier Knight Vice Commanders. Those who know him well say
he inherited both good and bad traits from his father, while his leadership
qualities come from his mother. He is Takuhir's respected older brother, but
his misdeeds have earned him stern reprimands from his mother and sister.
● Solis von Takuhir (14)
The unsung hero who
leveraged knowledge from a past life to save his family from dire situations
and elevate the Solis Barony to a Viscountcy. As the lord of the Teigun area,
he develops the city, leads the Mages he himself unearthed, and plays a crucial
role in the Southern Gate Bloodby Battle. The city developed under his vision
gained renown throughout the Kingdom for repelling an invading force of 3,000
with a small garrison. Due to his military achievements, he was promoted directly
from having no rank or title to Baron. Through his mother's mediation, he has
four concubines at this young age, but the groundwork is already being laid for
a formal wife.
● Solis von Chrisia (12)
Under the guise of a
naturally innocent personality, she accurately discerns things, both good and
bad, and is said to resemble her mother in childhood. She possesses the rare
combination of Earth Magic, a bloodline skill, and aptitude as a Holy Mage. She
can accurately analyze her brother's personality and is very quick-witted. She
is quite attached to Takuhir and frequently visits Teigun. At the supreme
tournament, she exchanged internal information from various territories and
also displayed a talent for gambling. Being earnest, she shows strong disapproval
of her eldest brother's misbehavior.
● Solis Anne (24)
One of Takuhir's four
most trusted individuals and one of his concubines (the chief). As his
exclusive maid, she not only takes care of him but also secretly supports him
as a bodyguard with her Master-level swordsmanship and sometimes as a
confidante. She is the closest to him and has spent the longest time by his
side, almost an alter ego.
● Solis Miseri (21)
She serves as the head
of the administrative office governing the Teigun area and is extremely
capable, acting as Takuhir's right-hand woman. She is also one of Takuhir's
four most trusted individuals and one of his concubines. In the previous
timeline, she also served as his right-hand woman, managing the administrative
office. When Takuhir was away, she concurrently served as the city's defense
commander.
● Solis Claire (22)
A Fire Mage and a
reliable, older-sister figure who also oversees all Mages. She is also one of
Takuhir's four most trusted individuals and one of his concubines. Aside from
Anne, she is the longest-serving comrade, understands his policies the most,
and is so trusted that it's said there are no worries when she's around.
● Solis Yoltia (21)
A Gravity Mage, said
to possess a very rare skill. Her father was a merchant, so she is well-versed
in economics. Despite being a newcomer, she supports Miseri in administrative
matters. She is one of Takuhir's four most trusted individuals, and one of his
concubines. She feels deeply indebted to Takuhir and Chris for rescuing her
from the brothel.
> Solis Viscount
Family Faction
● Raymond Estia (35)
As the steward of the
Solis Viscounty, he's the number three influential figure, solely responsible
for all domestic affairs of the viscounty and the overall management of the
manor. He quickly recognized Takuhir's talent and secretly supported him, sometimes
working behind the scenes to ensure his proposals were adopted. He has also
significantly assisted in personnel matters, such as assigning the capable Anne
as Takuhir's exclusive maid and placing the equally capable administrative
officer Miseri in Takuhir's projects.
● Mages
(Details listed
separately)
〇 Sarah Cornell (29)
From a branch family
of Baron Cornell's house, and Lady Chris's exclusive attendant. She possesses
the Earth Magic bloodline skill and has been Takuhir's exclusive attendant for
the past few years, supporting the development projects in the Teigun area.
〇 Miguel
A comrade-in-arms who
fought alongside Daren, a Knight Baron at the time, on the battlefield. He
suffered war wounds and now serves as the Viscount family's head chef. He
contributed greatly to turnip cuisine as an ingredient, the development of
dried noodles, and the creation of cooking recipes.
〇 Geld
He established a
workshop in the city of Est, and his workshop grew rapidly through Takuhir's
product development. He is now a workshop master overseeing many foremen. His
workshop has grown into one of the leading ones in Kyle Kingdom, and he feels
greatly indebted. He prefers a very athletic coaching style.
〇 Foreman Karl
Originally a disciple
of Foreman Geld, he became independent and a foreman himself. With his
excellent skills, he fulfills Takuhir's requests. When Takuhir built the city
of Teigun, he proactively settled there and opened a workshop. He feels an
extraordinary debt of gratitude to Takuhir and always fulfills his requests. He
was originally soft-natured but became athletic due to the foreman's influence.
● Vice von Schwarzfalke
He concurrently serves
as the Commander of the Twin-Headed Hawk Mercenary Corps and a Vice Commander of
the Frontier Knights, making him akin to a military advisor to the Solis
family. He feels greatly indebted to Takuhir and consistently supports him in
combat. His swordsmanship is of "Sword Demon" caliber, and he excels
in military strategy, making him a truly outstanding figure of both wisdom and
courage. In the previous timeline, he was a general in the Gryphonia Empire and
destroyed the Solis Barony.
● Kira
One of the two Vice
Commanders of the Twin-Headed Hawk Mercenary Corps. She is one of the few women
in the mercenary corps, but her skill is so exceptional that few ordinary men
can match her. She prefers to support allies as part of the reserve force
rather than fighting on the front lines. She also assisted Christoph and played
an active role when Teigun was attacked.
> Hastburg
Margraviate Faction
● Margrave Hastburg
A powerful figure
entrusted with the defense of the Kyle Kingdom's southern border and a
protector of the Solis family, including Darek and Takuhir. Lacking male heirs,
he intends for his youngest daughter, Flora, to marry Darek, considering Darek
as a successor candidate. His army is strong, but constantly on the front lines
in battles against the Gryphonia Empire.
▶ Hastburg von Flora (15)
The youngest daughter
of Margrave Hastburg, doted upon by her father. She is Darek's fiancée and
attends the Royal Capital Academy. She has a quiet and laid-back personality,
but her thoughts are more mature than her father realizes. She is determined to
think about the future of the Margrave's family with Darek and be one of its
pillars.
● Viscount Kilias
A powerful figure said
to be the Margrave's right-hand man. He married the Margrave's daughter and is
seen as one of the successor candidates. Although his family lineage is that of
a Viscount, his actual capabilities are on par with a Count, earning him
respect from enemy nations. He is earnest and capable but can be
unapproachable, making him less popular than Darek, another successor
candidate.
● Viscount Gorman
Governs the territory
bordering Solis Viscountcy to the west. He excels in martial arts, and his
subordinates are strong, making him a reliable presence on the battlefield. Due
to unfortunate events, he developed a rigid, almost arrogant personality, but
his true nature is awkward yet forthright. He dotes on his eldest daughter and
shows a side of himself to Takuhir and his eldest daughter Yuka that he doesn't
reveal to others, opening his heart to them. However, his attitude clearly
changes towards anyone else.
▶ Gorman von Yuka (13)
The eldest daughter of
the Gorman Viscount family, born to his former wife who left the family for the
sake of the Viscount family. She is generally perceived as a gentle, delicate
young lady of noble birth, but mentally, she is already an adult, possessing
her father's courage and forthrightness when she makes a decision. Although
inherently thoughtful and very kind, she undergoes a slight personality change
when it comes to gambling. She is seen by those around her as a prospective
fiancée for Takuhir.
● Viscount Hiyorimi
Governs the territory
bordering Solis Viscountcy to the east. He is an eerie presence, said to be
inscrutable. He concocted an outrageous scheme, luring the enemy army and
putting the Solis family in danger of destruction, but his plan ultimately
failed, causing significant losses to the Imperial army. He is currently
lurking in the shadows, preparing his next plot.
▶ (Viscount Family's Eldest Son) (Details unknown)
His true identity
remains unknown, but he uses Dark Magic to brainwash the weak-hearted and
unstable, causing chaos on the battlefield.
▶ (Viscount Family's Second Son) Hiyorimi von Erol
In the previous
timeline, he was Takuhir's archenemy. He was imprisoned by his elder brother
during the Southern Gate Bloody Battle, and his fate thereafter is unknown.
● Baron Cornell
Governs the territory
bordering Solis Viscountcy to the north. He is from Chris's maternal family,
and many in his clan possess the Earth Magic bloodline skill, leading them to
be dispatched to various locations. Normally, they are in high demand for
construction and other projects, but on the battlefield, they are often given
mundane tasks such as building fortifications, earning them the title of
"Battlefield's Shadow Dwellers." He seems to be in a weak position
relative to his sister Chris and is unable to stand up to her.
● Baron Kreutz, Baron Bold, Baron Herald
Barons under Margrave
Hastburg who govern the territories on the eastern side of the border, similar
to Viscount Kilias. Compared to typical Barons, their soldiers are strong and
their mobilization capabilities are high, but they have not yet had prominent
opportunities to distinguish themselves. They are sometimes referred to as the
"Mob Three Barons."
> Royal Capital
& Others
● Duke Klein von Claus
The Headmaster of the
academy attended by noble children in the Royal Capital. However, his influence
extends beyond just that position; he appears to be involved in national
politics behind the scenes. Darek refers to him as the "Tanuki Old
Man" and is most wary of him, as he is always burdened with troublesome
tasks whenever summoned by the Headmaster.
● Count Gouras von William
The Commander of the
Knight Order based in the Royal Capital. He stands at the apex of the 30,000
Royal Capital Knights, and his swordsmanship is considered the pinnacle in the
Kingdom, earning him the title of "Sword Saint." He values Darek's
talent and refers to him as an outstanding figure who will be his right-hand
man in the future.
● Margrave Hamish
The Margrave entrusted
with guarding the eastern border of Kyle Kingdom, but he suffered defeat in an
invasion by the neighboring Istoria Imperial Kingdom. With the aid of the Royal
Capital Knights, he managed to push the enemy back to the border. The eastern
frontier region is not as prosperous as the south, and there was a disparity in
military and economic power, so the defense of the eastern frontier remains a
future challenge.
● Details Unknown (4 Individuals)
Four Marquises,
claiming to be of the "Restorationist Faction," are said to be
descendants of the 12 clans who are the heads of the royal capital's 12 major
bloodlines. Among the four Dukes and eight Marquises, they weave intricate webs
of conspiracy around the Solis brothers.
● Identity Unknown (1 Individual)
A Count from the
southern region belonging to the "Restorationist Faction" who led the
First Army of the Noble Coalition during the Southern Gate Bloody Battle. He
resents the Solis brothers, particularly Darek, who not only thwarted his own
plans but also received commendations for their military service while he lost
many of his cavalry.
> Gryphonia Empire
● Glorious von Gryphonia
The First Imperial
Prince of the Gryphonia Empire. Due to his mother's lineage, he has many
supporters among higher-ranking nobles, including Duke Harley. He suffered a
painful defeat in the Southern Gate Bloody Battle, and his influence is waning.
Currently, he has fallen behind the Third Imperial Prince in the succession
struggle, but he is attempting a comeback through a scheme.
● Gralt von Gryphonia
The Third Imperial
Prince of the Gryphonia Empire, who is constantly at odds with the First
Imperial Prince over the right of succession. Unlike the First Imperial Prince,
who has a support base among higher-ranking nobles, he is popular among
lower-ranking nobles and commoners. His subordinates are loyal and strong, but
their "muscle-brained" nature is a source of concern. He was
currently engaged in conflict with the Principality of Sura on the southern
front of the Empire, but due to domestic intrigue, he will now be responsible
for both the southern and northern fronts.
● Duke Harley
A powerful figure
within the Empire with strong influence and a significant voice within the
royal court. He supports the First Imperial Prince, who is his son-in-law. He
excels in scheming and court intrigues and is referred to as the "cunning
old geezer" by the Third Prince, who remains wary of him.
● Count Astray
A member of the First
Imperial Prince's faction, he participated in the Southern Gate Bloody Battle
and served as the rearguard in the final battle, yet was the only one to suffer
minimal casualties. By his lord's command, he left the main battlefield and
invaded Viscount Kilias's territory on the right flank, and ultimately
distinguished himself en route to rejoining the main army under his lord's
order. Due to Duke Harley's schemes, he was falsely accused of arriving late to
the final battle and has since had his territory confiscated.
● Margrave Goth (killed in action)
A powerful figure in
the Gryphonia Empire's First Imperial Prince's faction, whose troops were
renowned for their strength. He suffered a crushing defeat in the Southern Gate
Annihilation Battle. In the Southern Gate Bloody Battle, his entire army,
including the lord and his successor, was annihilated, leading to the
extinction of his family line and the confiscation of his territory as a direct
imperial domain.
● Marquis Bradley (killed in action)
A powerful figure in
the Gryphonia Empire's First Imperial Prince's faction, but he died in the
battle for Teigun along with many of his soldiers. The remaining forces were also
attacked by monsters during their retreat along the demon realm's edge,
ultimately luring monsters to the Imperial army's main camp. In the end, all
but 400 who became prisoners were annihilated, and he was held responsible for
the decisive defeat. His family line was extinguished, and his territory was
confiscated as a direct imperial domain.
● Baron Durul
The head of a Barony
belonging to Marquis Bradley. He was severely wounded during the Teigun
invasion and was left behind, becoming a prisoner. He has high self-esteem and
a personality that is easily misunderstood as "cringe," but he is
earnest and not entirely unlikeable. He was a troublemaker within the detention
center, but after a certain event, he had a change of heart and has since
dedicated himself to the repatriation of prisoners.
● Masrur
A 100-man leader in
Marquis Bradley's army. The town where he lived as a child was destroyed by an
invasion from the Principality of Sura's army. Grateful for the Third Imperial
Prince's army that rushed to their aid, he joined the military but made the
mistake of joining a hostile faction. During the Teigun invasion, remembering
what his own town had endured, he surrendered himself. He is currently entrusted
with overseeing the prisoner-of-war camp.
