[WN] Three Skills : Volume 1 Chapter 37

Volume 1

Chapter 37

A Mysterious Woman Appeared

Translator : PolterGlast

From then on, I attacked the giant golems over and over again.

I charged at their hip joints, smashing into them with all my might to shatter them. But, as always, the golem would remain balanced and crush me with the weapon it held in its left hand that was thick like a cone at both ends. The other golem would fire a laser at the spot where I was crushed as if to finish me off.

I would regenerate a little to the right of the giant golems, but they'd sense it and fire a laser at me again. And then they'd fire two or three more lasers without a break.

I purposely started regenerating at a point that was only a short distance from the laser's landing point. I thought it might be harder for them to predict my movements that way... but it didn't really work. I was turned to ashes by a laser fired by the other golem.

Good, good! The opponent is too strong! I can't find any openings to win at all!

I wonder how many times this has happened. I haven't counted from the beginning.

But, other golems would have started to malfunction by now, but I can't sense any signs of that in these giant golems. They seem like they can keep going.

I don't expect to feel a strong sense of joy when I win against these golems. But this excitement in the middle of the battle surpasses anything else.

Maybe these golems will never run out of energy. Well, probably not forever. But I'm sure they'll keep me entertained for a long time.

I regenerated again near the door, which was a blind spot for the two golems.

I ran towards one of the giant golems and───I hammered my fist into the golem's body.

"Ah"

The impact ran through the golem's entire body in an instant, eventually reaching the location of the gem embedded in its head.

Its body shattered into rubble and crumbled apart. And the gem shattered, and the light disappeared───no, it didn't.

Actually, it's a mystery whether that light was emitted from the gem, but no such fragments fell, and the light remained intact.

Perhaps a membrane of annihilation is covering that part of the nucleus? If so, there would be no need to worry about being destroyed, and I could just focus on the battle!

Oh... how wonderful. It's wonderful, golems.

My heart is pounding. There aren't enough existing words to describe this feeling. I can only express my emotions by repeating how awesome it is over and over!

More... more! Please entertain me as long as you can!!

Let me enjoy this moment───forever!

As I lowered my waist again───

Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle!!!!

A large number of light arrows poured into the room from the ceiling.

My body finished regenerating in the center of the room.

Wow, that was a surprise!... I looked up when the ceiling suddenly lit up, and there were a lot of magic circles? They were overlapping and spreading over a large area, and a rain of light was pouring down from them. Even though I didn't intend to dodge it, it poured down at high speed and filled a large volume, so my body was instantly submerged.

What was that? Was it another attack method of the golems? Well, since I can regenerate, maybe that kind of attack is possible too... but wait, the golems aren't regenerating...? No way? That can't be.

"Completely... completely useless and unpleasant,"

As I was feeling down, the door at the back suddenly began to open.

From there emerged the owner of the voice───a woman with long, pale blue hair and sharp eyes.

She was wearing clothes that looked like those worn by ancient Greeks, with a single large cloth covering her entire body. In her right hand, she held a staff made of wood, with the tip bent to form a ball. She had a modest chest and a slender body line overall, giving her a strict impression. I wonder who... that person is?

"My purification is nothing compared to that of the Garma... but to regenerate, how bothersome."

She's muttering something. Or rather, isn't she angry?

"That's why those called forbidden existences are so shallow, foolish, and truly infuriating..."

Her eyes became even sharper, and her pupils were filled with anger.

"Get lost, human."

And as the woman pointed her staff at me───numerous magic circles appeared on the ceiling again. A rain of light poured down.
