the Frontier Knights ① - Assembly

Just before summer,
the Northern Outpost (Post Town), which had been undergoing renovation and
exterior wall reinforcement, was completed.
With this, the
Frontier Knights branch in Teigun was formally established, and personnel
belonging to the Knights from both the Gorman Viscountcy and Cornell Barony
gathered en masse. Incidentally, the Knights' barracks and related facilities

With this, along with
the 200 cavalry already stationed from the Solis Viscount family and 100
cavalry from the Twin-Headed Hawk Mercenary Corps, a total of 500 cavalry were
now fully assembled.
From the Gorman
Viscountcy, the Viscount himself led 150 cavalry to Teigun along with his
direct unit. He had gathered the most elite cavalry from his territory and sent
them to this Frontier Knights branch.
Viscount Gorman's
soldiers are inherently strong. In the Southern Gate Annihilation Battle (Kyle
Calendar 502), they maintained their front lines under overwhelmingly
disadvantageous conditions, and at the opportune moment, shifted to offense,
pushing back Margrave Goth's elite unit. In the Southern Gate Bloody Battle
(Kyle Calendar 506), I was saved by his 300 cavalry. When I saw someone utterly

After they settled

Firstly, regarding the
soldiers to be incorporated into the Frontier Knights: he brought his most
elite troops this time, but he wished to rotate 50 cavalry every six months in
the future to strengthen his territory's military capabilities.
Secondly, he welcomed
the deployment of the Frontier Knights for the demon realm subjugation
operation, but he also wished for an expedition to the demon realm on the
Gorman Viscountcy side once things settled down.
Thirdly, he had
brought the two Sound Mages I knew, as well as other Mages, and requested
permission for them to stay in Teigun for the time being and participate in
Commander Weiss's Mage training.
"That's an offer
I couldn't refuse, but are they (the Mages) okay with it? Commander Weiss is a
demon when it comes to training, you know?"
"Don't worry
about it. Include the soldiers; drill them thoroughly. I'd even like to see
that training myself."
And so, the discussion

three matters to Viscount Gorman.

the practical application of the Sound Mages.

Although not as much
as the Estol territory, monsters in the Demon Realm near the Gorman Viscountcy

Knights branch inauguration ceremony, would it?"

"Lady Flora,
thank you very much for coming all this way."
"Takuhir-sama, I
apologize for the sudden visit. I heard in a letter that Lady Yuka was planning
to visit, so I forcibly asked my father to let me accompany her."
