Small Happiness

After the clothing store, we went around shops selling
accessories and miscellaneous goods, and Tricia and Maud
gradually came to genuinely enjoy themselves. It was full of anxiety, but I'm

「Of course. It's a day off, so you
have to enjoy it.」
「I am truly glad to have met you, Graham-sama.」

Even normal happiness probably feels special to them right

going to cry.」
「Crying is a bit much. Before Maud
actually cries, shall we go to the final destination for our day off?」
Since her eyes genuinely started to water, I decided to move
towards our final destination. Today's final destination is the restaurant
recommended by Ginia. Apparently, not only is the food here delicious,
but their takeout menu is also extensive, so we can buy souvenirs to take home
to Lia and the others who are waiting for us. It's killing two birds

restaurant. Aren't we out of place?」

Maud puffed
out her chest, and as if imitating her, Tricia also puffed out her
chest. Laughing as I looked at the two of them, I entered the restaurant. Just

as the main. Is pasta fine for all three?」
At the waitress's question, Tricia and Maud
nodded repeatedly.
「Also, for takeout, we'd like pizza,
pasta, and tiramisu, seven portions of each.」
「Certainly. I will prepare them so
they can be handed to you upon your departure.」
After bowing her head lightly, the waitress walked away.
「Phew, I was nervous. I'm glad Graham-sama
ordered for us.」
「I went ahead and ordered Ginia's
recommendation on my own, but was that alright?」
「Of course it's alright. We wouldn't
really understand even if we looked at the menu, so thank you for ordering.」
「Even so, I'm hungry. My stomach was
completely full in the morning, but we've been going around shops until the sun
went down, after all.」
「I thought it was too heavy for the
morning, but as a result, it was the absolute correct choice.」
「Indeed. The hamburger in the morning
was delicious too, but I'm looking forward to the food here as well.」
As the three of us exchanged idle chatter, the food we
ordered arrived. I thought it would be a multi-course meal, but it seems that
wasn't the case. Tricia and Maud would have probably been
nervous, so it's a good thing it wasn't a multi-course meal.
「Shrimp and prosciutto salad, and
minestrone. And today's pasta is a cheese-filled bolognese. Please enjoy.」
Both the salad and the soup looked delicious, but the
pasta's appearance was outstandingly appetizing. A massive pile of fluffy
cheese rested atop chunky meat, making it obvious it was delicious even before
eating.
「It looks delicious...!」
「This is my first time seeing such a
delicious-looking dish.」
「It's my first time too. Shall we dig
in?」
After the pre-meal greeting, I first reached for the salad.
...It's too delicious. The shrimp is plump, and the prosciutto is a mass of
umami. The salad is also simply delicious, and I can't stop my fork from the
very first appetizer. The minestrone is light yet has concentrated umami, a
comforting dish. And then, the main dish, the bolognese. This is the pasta Ginia
highly recommended, a dish guaranteed to be delicious even before tasting it. I
took a breath before bringing the bolognese to my mouth together with the
cheese.
「It's too delicious. What is this
dish.」
「It's truuuly delicious. Is it okay
for something this delicious to exist?」
「The pasta, the sauce, and the cheese
are all the best. ...Graham-sama, thank you very much!」
I don't quite understand the gratitude directed at me, but it was certainly a deliciousness that makes you want to thank someone. While thanking Ginia, who recommended this restaurant, I savored the final meal of our day off to the fullest.
