[WN] The Evil Imperial Princess : 6

06

The First Imperial Prince, Maxence d'Or Diagard. With fiery cassis-red hair, slanted eyes resembling his mother's, and red-purple eyes. Rough and wild like a carnivore, he admired the Emperor and had been forging himself by drilling swordsmanship into his body since he was young. He was the child of the daughter of General Ledero, the top brass of the military who had joined hands with Valentin; the Empress detested Valentin and lived in the Inner Palace. In the Inner Palace, she supposedly grasped all authority and lived while freely squandering money.

The Second Imperial Prince, Luca d'Or Diagard. He wore glasses as if to hide his beautiful lapis lazuli eyes and his ash-blue, wavy hair that was like the deep sea. A timid eccentric who always shut himself in his room, diligently studying poisons. His mother was the daughter of the Pope, who received support from the imperial citizens. When he was young, Luca too would go in and out of the church accompanied by his mother, but he shut himself in the Imperial Palace and became engrossed in books and the study of poisons.

And the First Imperial Princess, who would later be called the Evil Imperial Princess, Candice d'Or Diagard. Possessing white-blonde hair and lavender eyes. Her mother, called the jewel of Diagard, was the daughter of an old-guard imperial noble with a distinguished and noble bloodline. It was a marriage proposal arranged in order to persuade the rebelling old-guard nobles, but being of weak constitution, she lived in a separate villa with clean air.

The Third Imperial Prince, Arthur d'Or Diagard. Yellow-gold hair and pink-purple eyes. It is said that Arthur's mother was a commoner. Leaving Arthur behind, his mother went to the Inner Palace, and no one even knows where she is. Having no backing whatsoever, Arthur received discriminatory treatment within the Imperial Palace.

When Maxence was fourteen, Luca twelve, Candice ten, and Arthur nine, the succession dispute finally intensified. Power became entangled in the conflict, and bloody incidents began occurring frequently within the Imperial Palace. However, only Arthur hastily withdrew from the succession dispute.

The fiancé prepared by her grandfather so that Candice would be at an advantage was the flawless prince who always smiled and showed no openings, Georges. He was a gentlemanly and mature type that her other siblings were not. The Second Prince of the neighboring Daltnest Kingdom, he was praised for his handsome features, brilliance, and flawlessness, and he boasted immense popularity in the Daltnest Kingdom. Candice did not dislike Georges's face, but he did nothing but complain about everything Candice did. The moment she realized he was a disagreeable man, she stopped approaching Georges. He would constantly nitpick and jab at Candice's disagreeable traits. Even when she punished a maid who made a blunder, he would constantly admonish Candice and only ever help the other party. Although he was an annoying guy who got on her nerves at every turn, deep down in her heart, Candice wanted to be loved by Georges.

Even though you are my fiancé, why won't you respect and love me!

However, Candice knew neither how to love nor how to be loved. Because they were fiancés, they remained together, unable to separate. She only appreciated Georges for the fact that she could receive envious gazes when they attended parties together.

Up until now, Candice had eliminated anything she did not like from her sight. However, Georges was royalty from another country. Candice could do nothing about Georges, who would admonish her on equal terms.

While the atmosphere in the Imperial Palace was bloodthirsty and the relationship between the siblings was at its worst, the one who dashingly appeared was Louise. Suddenly called by their father together with her siblings and introduced, Louise was said to be Arthur's twin younger sister. In other words, Candice was no longer the sole Imperial Princess, and became the Second Imperial Princess. Arthur and Louise rejoiced at their reunion. It seemed Louise had been raised in the streets by their mother, and her behavior and bearing were exactly those of a commoner.
