While warming up, I defeated just one more Wood Golem that was
nearby. At Level 8, the experience points I could get from defeating monsters
on the Fifth Floor were only about 3. For me, who is aiming for Level 10
where I can acquire a Class, how much experience I can earn on the Ninth
Floor is important, right. Let's check my status.

If I recall correctly, when I entered the Dungeon, I still needed
over 1,000 experience points for the next level. Aside from the Wood Golem
just now, I only beat up a few Skeletons when passing through the Fifth
Floor. Which means, Wood Golem-kun is incredibly delicious in terms
of experience points.
Just when I thought my motivation was brimming, I was surprised looking
at the other items.
「...Isn't the
experience required for the next level up a bit weird?」
The digits suddenly changed, didn't they. Why? It has increased
literally by orders of magnitude. That's weird, right. Huh? Though there's no
point in whining about it.
Aside from that, my status only went up by the usual 1 as always. I

place? Like I get more energetic every time I hit something with my hammer? If

must have also overcome hardships to reach the momentous Level 10.
There's no way I'm the only one going through a hard time. If I have
time to stand around, I should take even a single step forward. Let's cheer up

have to register the transfer circle too, so maybe I'll just go to the Tenth
Floor already! The next floor is going to be Golem-kuns anyway,
after all. Easy win, easy win!」
Both the experience points and the value of the sellable magic stones
get higher the deeper the floor the monster is on. The Tenth Floor has a
transfer circle, and it's the end of the upper layers. I should proceed to the
next, thinking of it as preparation to challenge the middle layers.
Besides, since I'm acquiring a Class after overcoming such tough
experiences, I'm sure I'll be able to become a super amazing-feeling Class.

but I'll do this Dungeon exploration brightly and energetically. I have
no more business on the Ninth Floor which is already far too much of an
easy win. Paying no mind to the Wood Golems everywhere, I proceeded to
the next floor.

arrived, the Tenth Floor. Let's register the transfer circle right away.」
The transfer circle was located a little away from the stairs. To be
honest, this is a good timing to return to the surface once. About five hours
have already passed since I entered the Dungeon. But I haven't reached
the level I set as my goal, nor my target earnings at all. I'm going to work
some more.
「First, let's
beat the Golem-kuns here to death.」
Just seeing how things go. The scenery of the Tenth Floor hasn't
particularly changed, and the monsters seem to be Wood Golems without
change, too. Looking from a bit of a distance, the appearance of that Golem
is no different from the Ninth Floor. Even so, there's no way they are
completely the same; something must be different and they should be powered up
a bit. Let's figure that out. It's the usual thing, but it'd be boring if I
rushed and got injured, after all.
I approach the wooden giant, which is easy to find thanks to its huge
size. I approach the first Wood Golem-kun with my hammer at the ready,
and I'll test out how it is. The monster, which noticed me right away, moved
its giant body nimbly.

kinda fast!」
An unexpected mobility upgrade. Even though it's a Golem that
looks like it has sluggish movements, that kind of thing is possible, huh. This
really misleads you with its appearance. Even though its speed went up, it's
not to the extent I feel threatened. If it's this much, it's absolutely no
problem. Just like the Wood Golems on the Ninth Floor, I circled
to its side while destroying its leg section with my hammer. Once it fell, I
delivered the finishing blow.

how much experience points is it?」
Setting aside the exact numbers, I probably got around 800 experience
points. As expected, perhaps because the Level 9 me is fighting in a place
higher than the suitable level like the Tenth Floor, I can get a quite
large amount of experience points. I'm still far from leveling up, but if it's
like this, defeating 1,000 of them will be 800,000 experience points, after
all. For me, who goes around defeating over 100 monsters every single time in one
Dungeon attack, I could reach it in about a week at the earliest.
Earning 1 million experience points started to feel surprisingly not that far
away.
「Just
defeating them is artless, huh. While I'm at it, let's accumulate various
combat experiences too!」
Being positive. Because I'm going to become able to go to even deeper
floors and earn even more. The Tenth Floor is still the upper layers.
Setting aside the lower layers, considering I'll be fighting mainly in the
middle layers from the Eleventh Floor onwards, let's build up more and
more combat experience and confidence on this Tenth Floor where I have
leeway.
I smack Wood Golem-kuns with my hammer, kick them away with my
boots, and shatter them. Not just close-quarters combat, I also get used to
being able to deal damage from a distance by firing magical arrows from the Ring
of the Strong Bow's Sacred Arrow. From doing it a little, I have terrible
control, but if I keep at it, I will absolutely improve, even if little by
little.
While testing various things, I beat Wood Golem-kuns to death
left and right. Me, I'm surely already resented by the Golem-kuns.
Even so, grinding experience points is incredibly steady work! As I thought, I at least want someone to talk to.
