Light magic is quite versatile.

Attack, defense, recovery, buffs... it has all the magic you need in any situation.

 

Its weakness might be that it lacks offensive spells, but that weakness can be easily compensated for if you can use other attributes.

 

Besides, there is also a magic sword spell, so I think I can fight in close combat with it... I still need to practice close combat to avoid being cornered, though.

In that case, it's best to use lightning magic, which is fast and powerful.

 

Lightning magic has the highest firepower among the magic I can use now.

It seems that the concept of skill LV is not just about increasing the number of magic you can learn.

Probably LV is also related to the activation speed and power of the spell.

 

I became convinced of this because the gap between Earth Lance, which creates an earth spear from the ground learned at Earth Magic LV 1, and Lightning, learned at Lightning Magic LV 1, were too great.

 

It was doubtful whether Earth Lance could defeat a zombie, and it took about three seconds to use.

 

On the other hand, Lightning has a smooth activation and a shorter time to release than Bind. Moreover, its power is so high that it can easily defeat a zombie and scorch its body.

 

There is also space-time magic, which has the same LV 10 MAX, but this has more tricky magic such as item boxes that can put things in and Jaunt that can teleport to another location, and there are almost no pure offensive spells.

 

Thanks to that, it might be a blessing in disguise that I was able to try all the space-time magic in the grassland yesterday.

In any case, I'll mainly use light magic and lightning magic for a while.

Lightning magic also emits a little smell... but that's something I can't afford to turn my back on.

I decided to end today's exploration when I returned to the stairs leading to the third floor again.

 

I've used a lot of magic spells for practice, so my MP has decreased quite a bit, and more than anything, my physical and mental fatigue has become stronger.

Corpses and equipment in the dungeon disappear before I know it, and traces of dungeon destruction disappear after a few hours.

No matter how powerful magic I use, I don't have to worry about environmental destruction.

 

And the drawback that adventurers hate this dungeon, which is that the stench of death and rot sticks to their bodies, can be greatly reduced by using the [Home] gift.

 

Use Refresh to restore items to their previous state, and use the shower to cleanse my body thoroughly.

If the smell still doesn't go away, I can overwrite the smell by spraying perfume in my home.

 

In addition, if I return to the house when I am tired, I can avoid being attacked by monsters while  I am sleeping or distracted.
