unconsciously touched her own cheek.
Previously, Candice, whose skin had been terribly
rough, didn't want to admit it, but she had longed for Louise's

Arthur remained
frozen while staring at the plate presented by Candice.
Jeanne was also
fidgeting with a worried look.
「Arthur, do you hate meat, I wonder?」
At Candice's question, Arthur shook his head
from side to side.
Bewildered by Arthur, who wouldn't try to eat no
matter what she said, Candice sent a glare filled with anger toward Jeanne.
「Candice, Imperial Princess-sama, His Highness Arthur
does not yet know table manners.」
It seemed Arthur was worried about the fact that he
didn't know table manners.
Seeing Arthur show a meek attitude in front of Candice,
her mood completely improved.

At Arthur's single phrase, Candice's heart
grew noisy.
Taking it to mean, "Naturally, you can do it,
right?", Candice swallowed her saliva with a gulp.

Completely forgetting how much she had loathed Arthur,
Candice ended up proposing a certain thing.
