Oh, what a failure. I
can't believe I was about to walk around in such a nearly naked state in a
forest where you don't know what might be lurking. My face is burning up, which
is so unlike me.
Even so... that guy
behind me, Mutou Kushina or whatever, is so strange.
Going alone in a
forest like this───a forest where a
monster tiger like that could normally be found is suicide. So, I thought it

Creatures shaped like
a pill bug───but several times
larger than a normal pill bug───were swarming there.

is this...?"

encountered any animals at all until now. So I wondered why."

"So this was the
reason."
The animals are afraid
of this place and won't come near. Because───

Kakyoin-san. Since these creatures live here, if you had come here barefoot,

insect nest."

Just as I was about to
move forward, a giant centipede-like insect appeared, breaking branches and
trunks of trees all around. It was a gigantic purple insect that must have been
hundreds of meters long. Its numerous legs were moving in a disorganized
manner, which was creepy.

didn't feel like running away.
A creature (the
insects) that even the overwhelmingly strong creatures (the animals) were
afraid to approach.

smile.
