"This is amazing..."

My LV has increased by 19 in just one exploration.

Of course, I can't level up by defeating just one Grim Reaper anymore, but I can still level up by defeating a few.

My magic power increased halfway through, and my proficiency in lightning magic increased, so I was able to defeat the Grim Reaper with two railguns, which made it even more efficient.

Since the railgun is used to connect the lightning line between me and my opponent, it has a certain degree of guiding capability.

Therefore, from the halfway point, as soon as I found two Grim Reapers, I connected the lines and hit them with two railguns one at a time.

And after that, I used the line to hit the approaching Grim Reapers with one shot each and defeat them.

"However, as fruitful as the LV was, there were a lot of dangers..."

There were many instances in which I was in danger.

It was quite dangerous when three grim reapers showed up and when I went back the way I came to get away from them, there were three grim reapers on the other side as well.

If I hadn't been able to get through it using the [Home] gift, I would have been caught in a pincer attack and received a lot of scythe mental attacks.

When I was forced to fight against three Grim Reapers, I was unable to completely avoid their attacks and ended up getting hit by the scythe's mental attacks several times.

When I get hit by a mental attack, my spirit becomes dull like after something bad happened.

It's like your body is being pulled by your heart, and you can't move your body as you want it to...

Even when I fired a railgun to defeat the Grim Reaper who attacked me, I unconsciously sighed.

Anyway, it's certain that that scythe is a dangerous attack if you get hit multiple times.

There was almost no damage to my HP... but because I'm the one who received the attack, I can say for sure that if I keep receiving many attacks, I'll die.

In other words, does that mean that there are ways to kill someone without reducing their HP to zero?

I was grateful that I was able to cure it by using Cure, perhaps because mental attacks are treated as status abnormalities... if this was an attack that accumulated, I would have gone to the afterlife long ago.

...I see, if I think about it calmly, this sixth floor is an area where one can normally die unless one have a companion who has mastered light magic up to LV5.

Certainly, as Varietta-san said, there is no doubt that the difficulty has jumped up at once.

"Besides, the fatigue is unbearable... I'll try to reduce the exploration time a little more."

The time I was exploring the sixth floor today was less than three hours.

It should be much shorter than the ten days I was defeating Wraiths, but still, the fatigue is unbearable.

I'm also physically tired from walking through unfamiliar place for the first time.

The feeling that there are monsters nearby that could kill me if I let my guard down wears down my spirit more than I could have imagined.

In addition, the mental fatigue from using magic is also quite significant.

Thanks to the mana recovery rising to LV4, my MP now recovers 8 every 10 minutes.

So I can use magic more than before... but I was clearly lacking in spirit in the second half.

The time it took to use magic was clearly increasing, and towards the end, the Railgun kept missing its target, and there were many occasions where I received the Grim Reaper's attack because of it.

Until now, I had only thought of magic as something that could be used if I used MP and concentrated a little.

It seems that continuous use of magic uses much more stamina than I thought.

Not physical, but the kind of stamina you use when studying or playing games continuously.

If I don't rest my mind well, it will interfere with exploration and combat, so I have to think of a better balance.

There are still more difficult floors waiting for me than the sixth floor, where I was able to level up so much at once... it's a little troublesome to think about.

For now, I'll go to the seventh floor after I can completely win against the four strongest Grim Reapers on the sixth floor.

There is no doubt that I now have a bit of leeway in terms of ability values, so next time I will try combat using magic other than railguns.

"My mind and body are tired... it's lunchtime, so I might as well cook myself some food."

However, as I rest, I decide to forget about the dungeon for the time being.

People tend to stumble in unexpected places when they push themselves too hard.

Conquering the dungeon is urgent, but it's not something that can be done overnight.

I personally think it's going to be a pretty long process.

So what I need to do isn't to push myself too hard, but to steadily make progress every day.

From now on, there will be more and more opportunities to engage in battles where a single mistake can be fatal.

I need to rest thoroughly when I can so that my thinking does not become dull at that time.
