◆ Holy Forgiver
One who venerates God
and acts as His proxy. Can use the skills Prayer (Minor), Healing (Minor),
Purification (Minor), Job Change (Minor), Atonement (Minor), and Stigmata
(Minor). Acquisition condition: A higher-tier job of Priest. Can change jobs by
becoming a Priest and diligently training, forgetting sleep and food. OR as a
Villager, defeat 10 monsters higher than one's own level within 3 hours, using
only bare hands, without anyone's help.
·
Prayer (Minor): By offering a prayer for 10 seconds,
enhances the effects of Healing and Purification skills for 5 minutes. Consumes
2 MP (Active Skill).
·
Healing (Minor): Completely heals minor injuries and
illnesses. Cannot fully cure moderate or severe injuries and illnesses.
Consumes 5 MP (Active Skill).
·
Purification (Minor): Dispels minor poisons and
defilements. Consumes 5 MP (Active Skill).
·
Job Change (Minor): Can view the target's available
jobs and change their job. Consumes 20 MP (Active Skill).
·
Atonement (Minor): Erases the target's sins by
offering MP proportional to the sin (Active Skill).
·
Stigmata (Minor): Etches an irremovable record of sin
onto the target's record card. Consumes 100 MP (Active Skill).
For criminals, there
are skills in this job that they would desperately want. If one holds this job,
even if they commit a crime, they can return to being a Holy Forgiver and erase
their criminal record. It's no joke.

◆ Heroic Sword Master
One who commands
troops, and wields a sword unmatched by thousands. Can use the skills Heroic
Slash (Minor), Insight (Minor), Command (Minor), Area HP Auto-Recovery (Minor),
All-Out Attack (Minor), and Indomitable Spirit (Minor). As a Unique Job, the
only acquisition condition is Synthesis (Hero of the Two-Handed Sword, Sword
Master).
·
Heroic Slash (Minor): Heroic sword technique. Inflicts
an unhealable wound on the soul of an evil being. Permanently reduces HP cap to
20% of its original value. Consumes 100 MP (Active Skill).
·
Insight (Minor): Evasion rate increases by 20 percent
(Passive Skill).
·
Command (Minor): Increases the STR, VIT, AGI, INT,
MIN, and DEX of all individuals under command by 10 percent. Can command up to
15 individuals (Passive Skill).
·
Area HP Auto-Recovery (Minor): Recovers the HP of self
and all individuals under command. Recovery amount is 3 HP per minute (Passive
Skill).
·
All-Out Attack (Minor): Increases own STR, VIT, AGI,
INT, MIN, and DEX ability scores by 30 points each. MP cap decreases by 30
points (Passive Skill).
·
Indomitable Spirit (Minor): Exerts power the longer
the battle lasts. STR, VIT, and AGI increase by +5 points every 10 seconds of
combat (Passive Skill).
It's strong,
somehow... And this Indomitable Spirit skill is clearly abnormal. Each of STR,
VIT, and AGI increases by 30 points in 1 minute. The longer the battle lasts,
the stronger one becomes. I'm grateful for it, and I intend to cultivate it.
For now, my existing
jobs are sufficiently strong, and I have sub-jobs and Status Points. I also
have companions, so I won't struggle even with bosses.
I'm certainly
struggling with the number of monsters on the 8th floor, but I should be able
to handle it without problems once my level increases.
So, instead of
forcibly synthesizing jobs, I decided to increase the number of available jobs.
That way, I might be able to synthesize with the newly acquired jobs.
For now, I'll also
make Priest available for job change. This can be acquired with the Holy
Forgiver (armed specification), so the difficulty is lower.
There's also one
dangerous synthesis combination: Avenger and Assassin. I have no desire to try
this combination. It's definitely dangerous. Moreover, I have no intention of
using Assassin as a synthesis material. I don't know what kind of job it would
become, and losing 40 Status Points from a level reset would be too painful,
especially since I've already lost 81 points.

After clearing the job
change requirements for Priest, I took a break. Currently, my main job is
Reincarnated Hero, and my sub-job is Heroic Sword Master.
"I'm done, so now
it's Itsukushima-san's turn," I said.
"Okay," she
replied. Itsukushima-san's combat was... more of a massacre than combat. Her
explosives were area-of-effect attacks, instantly eliminating multiple monsters
even when they appeared in groups.
I expected her to be
scared when facing monsters, but that wasn't the case. My image of
Itsukushima-san was a reserved and gentle girl. So, I was quite surprised when
she gleefully blew up monsters.
By the way, I used
Detailed Appraisal on my classmates' jobs, but I couldn't figure out the
acquisition conditions. They probably can't take the same jobs as summoned
individuals. However, some classmates do have common jobs. These are Swordsman
and Lancer, and the acquisition conditions for such jobs are normally visible.
Returning to the
Duke's mansion, I relaxed with my companions.
"I was surprised
that Itsukushima-san didn't hesitate to fight," I commented.
"It's been a few
months since I was summoned here. I've also prepared myself a little," she
replied.
"That's
impressive, Itsukushima-san. Compared to that, Yamato is..." I began.
"B-but I said I
don't like snakes!" Yamato stammered.
"On the 2nd
floor, not only Green Snakes but also Rampaging Boars appeared, and you were
scared, weren't you?" I pressed.
"N-no,
that's..." Yamato started.
"Well, you're not
a combat job, so it can't be helped that you're scared," I concluded.
"Th-that's right!
If I were a combat job, I'd be more, you know!" Yamato protested. What do
you mean, "you know"? Well, Yamato only entered the dungeon to
experience its atmosphere, so he wouldn't go again, and I didn't mind.

Alright, today I'm
going to conquer the 8th floor of the royal capital dungeon with the main
members. After using Dungeon Move to teleport to the 8th floor, I changed my
main job to Reincarnated Hero and my sub-job to Heroic Sword Master. Today, I
planned to thoroughly cultivate Heroic Sword Master.
There was a Merfolk
horde consisting of about 50 individuals.
"Let's clear them
out in one go!" I declared.
"Understood!"
(All of them)
Gandarvan led the
charge, followed by me, Rosalina, Jojok, Lin, Colon, and Karon.
---Thud! The Merfolk
hit by Gandarvan's tackle was sent flying.
Rosalina unleashed
five punches in an instant, and the Merfolk fell to the ground.
Jojok's demonic sword
severed the Merfolk's limbs.
Lin's demonic spear
pierced the Merfolk's forehead.
Colon and Karon, the
sisters, fought one monster together and won decisively without taking a single
hit.
Solidia's three
enhanced Wraiths consumed the Merfolk's life force.
The Merfolk struck by
the arrow shot from Bath's Demon Poison Bow moved sluggishly and then fell.
Anneliese's lightning
magic, Thunder Rain, overwhelmed many Merfolk. As expected, Anneliese's magic
had incredible power.
I wouldn't be outdone
and used the demonic sword Salman to cut off the Merfolk's heads, then
proceeded to slaughter three more in that flow. Since I had allocated Status
Points to AGI, the Merfolk's movements seemed like slow-motion. Even against
100 of them, I probably wouldn't get injured.
"Is everyone
alright?" I asked. They all said they were fine, but I checked everyone's
condition just in case.
Oh! Colon and Karon,
the sisters, could now change to higher-tier jobs!
"Karon, Colon,
you two can change to higher-tier jobs, what will you do?" I asked.
" " Eh!?
" " They were so surprised. Don't be so surprised. You've only been
my companions for a short time, but you've seen many things, right?
"I'd like to
change jobs if possible," Colon, the smaller elder sister, replied.
"It's a job
change to a higher-tier job, so your level won't decrease, but your body might
feel different, you know?" I explained.
"I will adjust
while fighting," Karon, the larger younger sister, replied this time.
"Understood.
Colon, you'll be a Falcon Dual-Dagger User. Karon, you'll be a Dark Heavy
Warrior," I declared. Colon, who was naturally agile, became a Falcon
Dual-Dagger User Lv40, a job that further increased her speed. Karon, who was a
heavy warrior, became a Dark Heavy Warrior Lv40, a job that further increased
her attack power. I performed their job changes with Holy Forgiver as my
sub-job. By changing the jobs of these two high-level individuals, my Holy
Forgiver level rose from 2 to 7. I wasn't actively trying to level up Holy
Forgiver, so this was very welcome.
After defeating
several more groups, Colon and Karon seemed to have adjusted to their new jobs.
Thanks to that, our combat power significantly increased. Colon and Karon were
now firmly supporting the front lines.
Furthermore, Bath's
Wide-Area Search skill detected a treasure chest.
"This is
something else..." Gandarvan murmured in exasperation.
"It's
imposing," I agreed, equally exasperated by the sheer number of Merfolk.
The treasure chest sat amidst a horde of approximately 300 Merfolk. One might
even call it a monster house.
"But it's better
than a poisonous swamp," Rosalina remarked.
"Rosalina's
right. For these guys, we just need to send them flying. Then we'll get the
treasure!" I exclaimed. Now that I had Holy Forgiver, poison wasn't as
scary, but there was no need to deliberately enter a poisonous swamp.
"Three hundred
will be a pain," Gandarvan chuckled wryly.
"First, let
Anneliese's grand magic reduce their numbers," I suggested.
"Leave it to
me!" Anneliese affirmed powerfully.
Anneliese raised her
Mithril Staff and concentrated. Anneliese, the Sage of Love's magic was
incomparably powerful. Moreover, her merciless magic would rain down over a
wide area, which would be terrible for the monsters.
"Thunder
Burst!" The spell name was woven from Anneliese's lips as her
concentration ended, and a dazzling flash of light and a deafening roar echoed,
overwhelming the Merfolk.
"That's
amazing..." Gandarvan murmured.
"Didn't she
defeat about half of them?" Bath asked. Gandarvan and Bath stood frozen in
bewilderment.
"Hey, don't just
stand there! Let's go!" I shouted.
"My
apologies!" Gandarvan replied. We charged into the remaining Merfolk
horde.
Rosalina guarded my
right, and Jojok guarded my left. We advanced, cutting down the attacking
Merfolk with the two of them.
Colon and Karon
advanced while being protected by Gandarvan and Lin. Gandarvan also wielded a
demonic sword and had high attack power, and Lin, with her rotating demonic
spear sweeping away Merfolk, made Colon and Karon feel very secure.
"Oraoraora!"
No matter how many Merfolk I cut down, the sharpness of the demonic sword
Salman didn't dull. I received a good demonic sword. I was genuinely grateful
to the Princess for this.
While we were cutting
down Merfolk, Anneliese's magic exploded again. Just a little more.
I cut down the last
Merfolk. I was a little tired, as expected.
"Are there any
traps in the treasure chest?" I asked.
"No, no
traps," Bath replied.
"Alright, open
it," I instructed.
I had Bath open the
treasure chest. Inside... there was one bottle and one leather pouch.
"Open the leather
pouch," I told him.
I picked up the bottle
and used Detailed Appraisal.

Rejuvenation Potion: Drinking this potion makes one 10
years younger.
Seriously? The 8th
floor was starting to yield items that would fetch high prices.
"The leather
pouch contains 30 100,000 black gold coins," Bath reported.
3,000,000 Grill and a
Rejuvenation Potion, huh? What a good profit.
