not the man, but the woman who took him. This resentment extended not only
to that woman but to other women of the same profession.
- As a result,
she became demon-possessed and began killing women in her profession. The
demon consumed the souls of the women she killed and fed on Linesa's
feelings of resentment.

defeated by Lance Saint Lin's holy lance.

Settings
Ducal Vassals
- Attend the
Great Council (held twice a year). Also respond to irregular incidents
(such as wars or large-scale bandit exterminations).
- A Baron's
annual stipend is 1,200,000 Grill (1,000,000 Grill per month). There is
also a 1,000,000 Grill preparation fund for the first year only. Paid in a
lump sum at the beginning of the year.
- A Baron must
employ at least 1 Knight and 5 Soldiers, separately from other servants.
The Ducal House can also introduce Knights and Soldiers.
- Upon
ennoblement, a family name and crest must be decided within 10 days. Toi's
Footscythel baronial crest features wisteria hanging on both sides
(modeled after the Fujiwara clan's family crest).
- Receives a
silver medal proving their status as a noble under the Duke of Gardland.
- As a Baron,
it is possible to release dominant slaves up to 3rd-class criminals. 1st
and 2nd-class serious criminals cannot be released.
Ducal House
- In addition
to the Knight Order, there is a security force that maintains order in the
city. The Knight Order has 4,000 members, and the security force has
1,000. The security force has several outposts throughout the city, with
about 10 members stationed at each at all times.
- There are 5
types of medals (from 1st to 5th class). The Order of the Rose, 1st Class,
and the Order of the Chrysanthemum, 2nd Class, are awarded for high
achievements. The Order of the Peony, 3rd Class, is for medium
achievements. The Order of the Camellia, 4th Class, and the Order of the
Iris, 5th Class, are for minor achievements or for those who have served
diligently for many years.
- Knight Order
units: Squads of 6, Platoons of 12-18, Companies of 30-60, Battalions of
144-240, Regiments of 300-720, Brigades of 900-1800, Divisions of
2000-5000.
- Levels of
Ducal House soldiers: General soldiers (many from Explorer background) are
10-18. Knights (commanders) are 18+. Barukan, the Knight Commander, is 42.
Levels increase with training, but it becomes harder to level up the
higher the level. Because low-level soldiers cannot advance, some knights
may enter dungeons to level up.
- Note: These are only guidelines.
Temple & Job Change
- To change
jobs, one must donate two 10,000 Grill platinum coins (200,000 yen).
- The Priest
job has a Job Change Support skill, which allows job changes.
Calendar
- One week in
this world has 6 days, one month has 5 weeks (30 days), and one year has
12 months. One day is 24 hours.
- The days of
the week are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark. Dark Day is a
holiday like Sunday in Japan.
- Every Light
Day is Curry Day (Toi household rule).
Weights and Measures
- Although not
widespread among commoners, weights and measures exist. Nobles and
merchants use standardized units for length, weight, and volume. Weights
and measures may differ by country.
Holy Orders
- Refers to
jobs with "Holy" in their name. These are special jobs in this
world, and the country and others recruit them with generous treatment.
Examples include Sword Saint, Lance Saint, Holy Knight,
Saintess, and Saint.
- Heroes are
treated as above Holy Orders, and it seems locals cannot become Heroes.
- Hero-type
jobs are powerful and comparable to Heroes, but they are not considered
Holy Orders and are treated one rank lower than Heroes.
- The
higher-tier Mage job, Sage, is sometimes included in Holy Orders. The
condition is being able to use Holy Magic.
Warhorses
- There are
several types of horses that can become warhorses.
- Gorgon
breed: Large horse, 1.3 tons. Verdigo breed: Large horse, 1 ton. Sungad
breed: Medium horse, 800 kg. Boldia breed: Medium horse, 700 kg. Amsh
breed: Small horse, 600 kg. Melunga breed: Small horse, 500 kg. There are
other horse breeds, but these 6 are mainly used as warhorses.
Magical Creatures
- Magical
creatures are what are called monsters inside dungeons.
- When
monsters are defeated in a dungeon, they leave items and disappear, but
magical creatures leave corpses. Of course, they do not drop items.
Instead, their corpses can be dismantled, and their hide, meat, bones,
fangs, etc., can be effectively utilized.
