105 Toi's
Finishing Move

Translator : PolterGlast
The exploration of the
9th floor is nearing its end.
After the Mithril
Golem came the Hihirokane Golem, and then the Golmodia Golem. Golmodia is a
black metal. Viscount Bacchus previously received some from me and was making a
sword. Has that sword been completed? I haven't heard anything yet. Was I
ripped off?
Once I conquer the
10th floor, I'll have to go see Viscount Bacchus.
Anyway, we finally
reached the boss room on the 9th floor.
Even using Barth's
Movement Route skill, the 9th floor was a journey through mountains, valleys,
and lakes. This 9th floor is simply too vast.
The master of the 9th
floor boss room was... an Orichalcum Golem. Its level was a staggering 73.
This 9th floor not
only has a wide area but also a wide range of levels. From 47 at the bottom to
over 70 at the top. Even I think that's ridiculous.
The Orichalcum Golem
stood 10 meters tall. Its body glowed with rainbow colors.
With such a flashy
color, its presence was considerable.
"Floor underneath,
huh? A hole won't work."
"We can't open a
hole in this kind of floor with magic. I apologize."
"No, Anneliese,
you don't need to apologize. Don't worry about it."
If a hole won't work,
we'll think of something else.
Let's check our
current levels.
·
Gandarvan: Strong-Armored Knight, Level 69
·
Barth: Adventurer, Level 67
·
Jojok: Sword Master, Level 69
·
Lin: Spear Saint, Level 69
·
Solidia: Necromancer, Level 68
·
Rosalina: Battle Master, Level 69
·
Anneliese: Sage of Love, Level 69
And my jobs are:
Heroic Sword King at Level 67, Reincarnated Hero at Level 67, Assassin at Level
65, Enchanter at Level 63. Also, the Holy Forgiver, which I sometimes use, is
at Level 12.
"The Orichalcum
Golem is tough and has no weaknesses. It also has the Regeneration skill,
continuously recovering HP, and fire-based attacks like Flame, Black Flame, and
Light Flame."
Compared to the Golems
we've faced so far, its strength is on another dimension.
"This is not a
monster to be underestimated. But that doesn't mean we need to be afraid. If we
unleash our full power, we can definitely win. Now, let's fight as usual
without letting our guard down!"
" "
"Alright!" " "
Yes, as long as we
don't let our guard down, we should be able to win.
The battle began with
Heroic Sword King's Heroic Slash!
My Heroic Slash skill
proficiency is currently "High."
This will reduce the
HP cap to 15%. This skill is nothing short of cheating.
As I dodged the
Orichalcum Golem's kick, Anneliese's Thunder was unleashed.
I thought it would
conduct electricity since it's metal, but the Thunder was repelled. The
deflected Thunder nearly hit me. I dodged, but if it had hit, I might have been
paralyzed.
"Sorry!"
"It's fine."
It's not impossible
that it only reflects lightning.
But it didn't have a
magic reflection skill, so reflecting it is annoying.
Hey, Detailed
Appraisal! Let's get serious about your job! Give me more information!
As if my thoughts
reached it, information on the Orichalcum Golem popped up.
According to it,
Orichalcum has the property of reflecting magic. Since it's a material
property, it didn't show up as a skill.
Seriously, you can do
it if you try, so why not do it from the start?
While I was praising
Detailed Appraisal, Gandarvan fixed its target with Anger Lock.
"Magic won't work
on this one. Anneliese, focus on support."
"Understood!"
The Orichalcum Golem
raised both hands.
Fire was unleashed
like a flamethrower from the circular, W-shaped emblem in its chest.
"Ughhh!"
Gandarvan received the
flames with his shield. Even with the shield, the heat was an intense
flamethrower, scorching Gandarvan's body.
"Don't
underestimate me!"
He withstood the
flames with sheer willpower and activated his HP Recovery skill. Since that
wasn't enough, Anneliese assisted with healing.
Rosalina, Jojok, Lin,
and I surrounded and attacked the Orichalcum Golem.
Normal attacks barely
dealt any damage. So, we were constantly activating skills.
The arrows fired from
Barth's Magic Poison Bow had no effect whatsoever. Golems are usually resistant
to poison, but the Orichalcum Golem seemed completely unfazed.
Solidia's summoned 7
Liches. Their combined Super Lich-like entity drained the Orichalcum Golem's
HP. An attack that would reduce a human's HP to zero in thirty seconds to a
minute, but the Orichalcum Golem's HP was abnormally high, and it barely
decreased.
And this is with its
maximum HP reduced by 15 percent! Just how tough and how much HP does it have? Seriously...
Maybe I need to get
serious too.
"Everyone, back
off!"
At my command,
everyone distanced themselves from the Orichalcum Golem.
The Orichalcum Golem
began its preliminary movement for Light Flame.
"I won't let you
fire it!"
I activated Sword King's
Aura, a skill from my main job, Heroic Sword King. I learned this skill when I
reached Level 50, and its current proficiency is "High."
A "High"
proficiency Sword King's Aura increases ATK by 8 times for only 10 seconds, but
it consumes an incredibly high 250 MP.
I activated Clone, an
Assassin skill set as a sub-job. I learned this skill when my Assassin level
reached 50, and its current proficiency is also "High."
Ten of my physical
clones appeared, but this is also an MP-consuming skill.
Everyone activated
Stealth. Then, they also activated Vital Point Strike and attacked the
Orichalcum Golem...
Everyone's damage was
multiplied by 5 due to the effect of Vital Point Strike, while their ATK was already
multiplied by 8. And i ncluding my main body,
there are 11 of us attacking.
"What color is
your blood?!" x11
Golems don't have
blood, but I just felt like saying it.
The first clone lunged
at the Orichalcum Golem.
Its HP rapidly
decreased. Then, the second clone attacked! At this point, the Orichalcum
Golem's HP reached zero.
Since we were already
at it, we continued until all attacks were finished.
Overkill? So what?
Its head was
destroyed. Its left arm was destroyed. Its right arm was destroyed. Its left
leg was destroyed. Its right leg was destroyed. Only its torso remained. There
was no counterattack. Since its HP was zero, I would have cursed it for lacking
common sense if it had counterattacked.
Finally, it was my
turn, the original! I plunged my magic sword, Salman, into the exposed Golem
core.
After the attack, the
clones dispelled, and the 10 clones returned to me. Simultaneously, the
lingering sensation of 10 attacks remained in my hands.
The Orichalcum Golem
was completely destroyed in just about 3 seconds, reduced to miserable
wreckage.
An 8x ATK boost alone
is cheating, but the resulting damage is then multiplied by 5. Even without
putting all my status points into STR, I dealt massive damage to the Orichalcum
Golem.
And it was 11 attacks.
Even if its maximum HP hadn't been reduced by 15 percent, this attack might
have been able to deplete the Orichalcum Golem's HP completely.
"Isn't that
cheating...?"
Along with Gandarvan's
exasperated voice, the Orichalcum Golem fell to the ground and vanished.
"I'd use any
cheat or trick rather than get injured."
If I held back and
someone got injured or died, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
Besides, it felt like
a cool finishing move, didn't it?
However, the drawbacks
are considerable. Doing this consumes a lot of MP. My MP is completely
depleted. The sudden loss of MP made me a bit dizzy.
